UFOP to host the 2019 International Rapeseed Congress in Berlin
Berlin, 10 July 2015. The Union for the Promotion of Oil and Protein Plants e.V. (UFOP) will be the host for the next International Rapeseed Congress in 2019 in Berlin. The chairman of the International Consultative Group of Research on Rapeseed (GCIRC) has confirmed UFOP's application to host the 15th International Rapeseed Congress.
During the recent 14th Rapeseed Congress from 5th - 9th July 2015 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (Canada), UFOP held a presentation on the significance of rapeseed cultivation for Germany and the state of research with regard to breeding, cultivation, processing and use of rapeseed in front of over 900 attendees from all over the world.
The GCIRC Rapeseed Congress is the largest science-based and practice-orientated congress in the field of rapeseed research. Scientists from all different scientific disciplines report on their latest research results every four years. Applications to hold presentations first pass through an expert selection process: Overview presentations and brief lectures are supplemented by a large poster exhibition and other exhibits.
